RichSolid, sturdy, weight bearing construction my partner & I combined are about 400 pounds of lean muscle, with another 100 or so pounds of a cal king tempurpedic and this frame doesn't move, squeek, creek... nothing! Its awesome. We've elected to remove our box springs too, wood is weak go with steel!
